Hi Loren

haven't had much luck posting this request so i am trying again

I have had a flat battery and now require a security code for my radio(unfortunately no code supplied when i purchased the car 2 years ago).

Boxter S 2001

The radio is a CDR 220

Type 4462

Serial Number 15005585

I have a 2001 Carrera 911 Cab. ser#WP0CA299X1S650192. It has a Traffic Pro Nav, ser#15000138. My dealer says it is a U.S. car and that I need to get the code from a U.S. dealer. I am in Canada. Can you help? They had a code 8272 but my radio only has numbers up to #7 (no #8).

No, sorry you can only get Traffic Pro and NAV (PCM) codes from a dealer.

Thanks for your help. I contacted Becker North America at 201-773-0978 and they instantly gave me my code for $20 VISA.

It works!

Where can I get the CD for the Nav system?

You can try either Becker (again) or NAVteq.
